Now the other thing that made me mad about Time Warner Cable was the level of professionalism that they have dealing with customers.  The agent that I spoke with started off nice but when I didn’t want to buy all of the add on services from Time Warner Cable, she started to get upset and then preceded to convince me why I should pay more to save money on a bundled package of cable services.   Everytime I indicated that I didn’t want an additional service like home phone or internet, she preceded to go into a sales pitch on how she was going to save me money.  Now once I told her that I just wanted basic cable service without all of the other services she politely let me know that that was not going to happen and that I will either sign up for the bundle package or I won’t get any cable at all.

So here is what really will make you mad, in the middle of my conversation this unprofessional Time Warner Agent in Dallas hung up in my face.  That’s right she hung up in my face!  Now I did not at anytime curse or use foul language with this agent which in my opinion would give them the right to hang up.

So I guess one customer doesn’t really mean anything in the scheme of things but what she didn’t understand is that I get paid to survey customer service and then post that information on the internet for the world to review and see.

I an a professional Car Dealer from the state of PA in Business for over 30+ years , i bought a car off elite motors on ebay car was listed as 2000 mercedes sl500 52k miles  always garaged ,condition 10 out of 10 no paint   work , i flew down with cashiers check and was pickedup by Rafael Santo General manager then taken to their business about 30 minutes  from ft lauderdale airport. when i pulled the car out to get a closer look @ it i was amazed these people thought they was that stupid , the r.front bumper was misaligned with inner fender plastic damaged ,both doors look like the beach surf waves from amateur body repair and paint , the convertable top lift brackets which was chrome was only rust , this car looked like it had been parked under a fishing pier for years instead of always garaged kept. then when  Raphael seen i was a professional buyer he pulled the car in the building and said call a cab back to the airport ,i did not pay for the car but was out about $1,000 in plane fairs plus 24 hrs.  travel time . then these crooks relisted the car under another name Luxury Cars , BEWARE !!!! these guy’s are shady crooks and will  rip you off , I have turned them in to  FL. attornery Generals office , florida DMV , Broward county sherriff dept.  PASS THIS ON SO THESES GUYS CANT HURT ANYONE ELSE  For proof or contact info Call Jerry Haines 724 8403335 jhaines53@verizon.net

Now we normally dont think with Banks as lemons but in this case, First Convenience Bank of Texas has to be one of the lemons of the year when it comes to banking in Texas.  My problem with First Convenience Bank Texas began when someone had gotten a hold of my debit card information and basically proceeded to make unauthorized charges on my account.  Once I notified First Convenience Bank of Texas that this had occurred, they acted as if I was pulling a scam on them and it was up to me to prove that the charges were done by someone else.  I called their customer service center in Houston Texas and talked to someone and they said that the charge was for $400 and something and that it was done online. 

They gave me a number to call the merchant who the charge was made with and the number they gave me was wrong so i had to go online and do the research myself.  After finding the name on line, I was able to finally talk to someone to see what could be done to find out who had made the fraudulent charge.  All the time First Convenience Bank Texas was doing nothing to discover if the charge was fraudulent and they were more concerned with making sure that I got hit with all of the overdraft fees that were coming through because of this charge.  After spending a whole afternoon gathering all of the information on the fraudulent activity on my First Convenience Bank Card, I then was told to fax the information to them in Houston.  I went to my local branch and gave them the information that I had from the merchant and asked them to fax it to the customer resolution center in Houston Texas and they said OK. 

They told me it was faxed and I said great and walked out of the door thinking that the problem would be fixed in a matter of a few days.   Keep in mind that all of my money is tied up in the First Convenience bank account and I don’t have any way to access my funds and all money that was being deposited into my account was being devoured by their $34.97 bank fees which were hitting left and right as automatic drafts and other bills that i pay were coming through. 

The next day I call into their not so helpful First Convenience Bank customer disservice center and they tell me that they never got the fax that was sent from the branch.   So I have to go and find a fax machine and fax it to them myself and I get that part of it done.  After a few days I follow up to see if they have recieved my information and they said yes they did but no one told be that i needed to go into a First Convenience Bank branch and fill out a form stating that I did not make the charge.  So i go to the local First Convenience Bank Branch in Dallas and get the form from the branch manager and then i fill it out thinking that this will get the unauthorized charge removed from my account. 

Now during this whole time, not one person has called me from First Convenience Bank to find out my side of what happened and neither do they care since the fee’s are racking up everyday.  So I call in again to the First Convenience Bank disservice center and ask about my case and they tell me that the person who is handling my case is not available, and can’t come to the phone.  Now it’s been 7 days since the incident occurred and now they tell me that it will take 2 weeks for their investigators to determine if I did fraud on my own freaking debit card.   After providing all the information they asked for and finding out who the person was who used my card, what time of date they used it, and what company they used it on, they have the nerve to tell me it will take 2 weeks to investigate my claim.   Here is the killer, all my money is tied up with First Convenience Bank and I can’t do anything to stop charges from coming through and I will not be able to withdraw any money from my account for 3 weeks.

If you are thinking about opening a bank account at First Convenience Bank of Texas, don’t do it.  They don’t give a hoot about their customers and are only concerned about making sure that your account stays overdrawn so they can keep charging fee after fee to make your life miserable.  DO NOT OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT WITH FIRST CONVENIENCE BANK OF TEXAS!

After calling around for a few mobile mechanics that I found online, Mike seemed like a pretty decent guy after telling him what my problem was.  Even though he was working on another vehichle in the Plano area, he let me know upfront that he couldn’t make it at the time I needed but he would we willing to repair my toyota camry in Dallas after he finished his job.  I decided to call a couple of other mobile mechanics

in the Dallas  area and one of them told me he would be right there.

After waiting awhile the 2nd guy that I called never showed up and left me stranded and while I was waiting, to my surprise Mike called back and asked if I still needed help.  It was getting past dark so we decided to schedule the mobile repair for the next morning and he told me he would be there at 9 am.  Mike showed up ten minutes before nine and he was fully equipped with the biggest mobile repair shop that I had ever seen and he immediately got to work on repairing my serpentine belt on my toyota camry.  He finished in 20 minutes and next thing you know I was on the road busting bugs on Dallas Parkway.

The next time I needed a mobile mechanic to replace the alternator on my Toyota camry, I called Mikes Mobile Mechanics again and he asked me several questions about what the problem was and said that he would be out to fix it first thing in the morning.  Mike arrived and I assumed that I needed my alternator replaced and he even bought the part before he got there.   Here is where the real professionalism kicked in, he diagnosed the problem and knew that I didn’t need a new alternator even though he had already brought the part.  Instead of charging me for an alternator, he diagnosed the problem and said I had a bad cable on my battery terminal and he replaced the terminal and did not charge me to fix the alternator since it didn’t need to be replaced.

Now I’m looking at him like I can’t believe you didn’t charge me to replace the alternator on the my Camry and he just smiled and said, “Let me check to see if there is anything else that is causing your car to stall out”  He did a quick check, fixed the problem, saved me over $300 bucks, added fluids to everything that needed it and cleaned out my fuel injector!   Now my Toyota camry is running better than it has ever ran before and I owe it all to Mikes Mobile Mechanics, the best mobile mechanics in the North Dallas area.

Ford Windstar Minivan Recalls

Once again there is another recall for Ford and this time it is for the Ford Mini Vans and have been selected from certain areas of the country based on certain weather conditions.  Ford has been experiencing excellent sales and returning customers and this Recall for the Ford should go fairly smoooth.  Ford recalls are not new and even though Ford has improved the quality of its cars and trucks and vans, they are showing that they are willing to step up to the plate for its customers and let them know that their is a problem with the Ford Mini vans.

Ford Motor Co is recalling about 525,000 older model Windstar minivans in cold-weather areas because corrosion could cause a separation of parts under the vans that might reduce steering control, company and federal government officials said on Wednesday.

About 425,000 of the Windstars are registered in the United States, about 100,000 in Canada, and fewer than 750 in other countries, Ford said.

Ford said it is aware of seven reported accidents with five minor injuries in which drivers claim the corrosion-related issue was a contributing factor.

Model year 1999 to 2003 Windstar minivans are affected. In the United States, minivans in 22 states and the District of Columbia will be recalled, according to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.   If you are an owner of a Ford Windstar Minivan with the model years 1999,Windstar 2002,Windstar 2001,Windstar 2002,Windstar 2003 models, you will need to contact your local Ford dealer or visit the website at www.ford.com and find out how to get your Ford Windstar Van repaired.
